Andreas Kraemer
Co-Founder and Managing Director
Mr. Kraemer has more than ten years experience as a financial professional in investment banking, venture capital and industry functions. Besides his extensive valuation and financial modeling expertise, he worked on numerous transactions ranging from M&A advisory, venture capital and private equity to structured finance, including debt and equity financing. His industry exposure includes, among others, energy, agriculture, chemicals, automotive, capital goods, banking, telecommunications and services.
As financial consultant to Omni Agri Resources and Omni Sulphur, he is responsible for the development of several large international project developments at these firms. He manages project related financial tasks including equity and debt funding, tax planning and structuring, project valuation analysis and management of outside financial advisors such as banks and financial institutions. He also oversees Omni’s internal controlling, accounting and other financial responsibilities.
As Investment Manager for Enron Corporation's venture capital group, Mr. Kraemer analyzed second-round to pre-IPO equity investment opportunities, identified new investment opportunities, conducted due diligence and valuation, and led the internal approval and legal documentation processes. He served as a Board observer and member of the audit committee of a portfolio company and was a business developer for investment opportunities in Europe.
As investment banker at Credit Suisse First Boston (now Credit Suisse) and Union Bank of Switzerland (now UBS) he worked on numerous transactions of all sizes in various industries. He has extensive valuation and transaction experience using Discounted-Cash-Flow (DCF), comparable quoted company and acquisition analysis as well as merger consequences models. He prepared C-level management presentations for the discussion of industry and market trends, valuation results, and the strategic options of his clients. Prior to his financial career Mr. Kraemer was a First Lieutenant in the German Air Force where he worked as Air Defense Controller.
Mr. Kraemer holds a Master of Business Administration in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) in Glendale, Arizona, and a Master of Electrical Engineering from the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Hamburg, Germany.
Carol Kraemer
Co-Founder and Managing Director
Mrs. Kraemer worked for more than ten years as a professional for several energy companies, including most recently for Globeleq, Enron Corporation's Credit Risk Management group, and Enron International. She is a valuation and modeling expert and worked on some of the most sophisticated transactions requiring extensive analysis work.
She approved credit lines for different counter parties trading with Enron, analyzed and identified market and credit risk in structured transactions and trades, and calculated the credit reserve needed to be placed for structured transaction on a mark-to-market basis.
As Manager for Enron South America she conducted due diligence on projects presented to Enron International’s Executive Committee for approval, including determining the project risks and related risk mitigators, project feasibility and adherence to company goals, reviewed and signed-off of economic models presented to management and served as Enron consultant to Enron operated assets in the Southern Cone Region. Mrs. Kraemer spent two years for Enron in Bolivia where she developed a standard economic model for the calculation of tariffs and negotiated with government entities issues relating the establishment of tariffs, budgets, and all regulatory affair issues.
Mrs. Kraemer holds a Master of Business Administration in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) in Glendale, Arizona, and a Bachelor of Arts from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico.
